About Us
Objective
The Banking Christian Fellowship (BCF) exists to:
- Encourage Christians in the Banking industry to share the gospel of Jesus Christ
with their colleagues
- Equip Christians to publicly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ
We seek to achieve these objectives through:
- Providing practical support and advice for the setting up and development of
prayer groups
in the workplace
- Providing
evangelism training
- Hosting bi-annual evangelistic
dialogue events
around the City which provide opportunities for individual Christians and prayer
groups to invite colleagues to a short gospel talk in an informal environment
Why do we need the BCF?
Due to the pressures and demands of our industry, Christians can often find it difficult to
stay focused on serving God, having compassion for the lost in the workplace and the courage
to share the truth about the gospel.
The BCF therefore seeks to perform two important functions:
- To assist Christians seeking to establish prayer groups in their place of work
- To encourage established prayer groups to remain focused and to persevere
